An emergency stop was made in Italy on the return journey when the transformer fell through the floor of the centre on Set No 3 after going over a large bump in the road. This isn’t a problem as long as one has some steelwork, Charles, a welder (Bimbo) and David and his generator. ALL: BRETT GRAHAM

Set No 1, a 40ft diameter Savage set of 1890, joins the festive spirit in Syntagama Square, Athens.
Greeks obviously enjoy ‘Traditional English Victorian Galloping Horses’ as stated on the rounding board.

Brett’s ride was built in 1994 by Lol Bishton and family but utilised many original Savage parts.
