FOR MANY years steam enthusiasts have known about the collection of traction engines and steam rollers resting behind the locked doors of a closed 1930s petrol station and garage that belonged to the late John Lillywhite, situated on the West Sussex coast near Littlehampton, but it was only in late February/early March that the engines were finally dispersed to a host of lucky new owners.
