Macclesfield Sentinel waggon

I AM currently restoring a Foden traction engine that used to work in Tasmania but I enclose a photo of a Sentinel steam waggon which may be of interest to readers.

Macclesfield Sentinel waggon

A Hall & Sons Sentinel waggon, now presumed scrapped.

The chap on the right was known to our family, although I don’t now know his name and I think he used to drive the waggon. I believe the photograph was taken in the early 1940s.
I wondered if the waggon was still about and if anyone could identify it.
Luke Edwards, Stoke on Trent.

The waggon’s registration number does not appear in the Traction Engine Register and therefore it can be presumed to have been scrapped - Ed.
