No flags please, we're British
By: Colin Tyson
Having just received September's OG with the McLaren line-up, could I please make a plea of behalf of the photographers among your readership that, the use of 'Flags' adorning engines in the Static line-Up be 'banned'.
It is after all a one off display and it would be nice to get some pictures (weather permitting).
Perhaps we could exert just a little pressure on the few owners who perpetuate this habit.

As an exhibitor myself, I often have the union jacks on my engine. This is because I am proud of our once great country and the achievements it made, and no one, regardless of their excuses, will ever get me to take them down or remove them.
It shows patriotism, something that is greatly missing from many country men.
